These terms govern your use of eternalpromiseschurch.org, operated by Eternal Promises Church (Eternal Promises). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Member accounts
- You must be 18 or older to create a member account.
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in email secure. Our sign-in links are sent to your email, so anyone with access to your inbox can sign in as you.
- Accounts are personal; do not share yours or sign in as someone else.
- We may approve, suspend, or close accounts at our discretion, for example to protect the privacy of the member directory.
Using the member directory
Directory information is shared in trust for church fellowship. You agree not to:
- Copy, export, or share directory information outside the church
- Use it for sales, business promotion, fundraising for other organizations, or political campaigning
- Use it to harass, pressure, or contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted
Misuse of the directory may result in loss of access.
Acceptable use
When using the site, please do not:
- Post or send anything unlawful, threatening, harassing, obscene, or hateful
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection to the church
- Try to gain unauthorized access to accounts, the site, or its systems
- Send spam or upload viruses or other harmful code
Content you submit
You keep ownership of what you submit, such as profile details, photos, and form entries. By submitting it, you give the church permission to use it to operate the site and serve the congregation, for example by displaying your photo in the directory. You are responsible for having the right to share anything you submit.
Our content
Sermons, devotions, Bible study materials, graphics, and other content on the site belong to the church or are used with permission. You are welcome to view, share links to, and use them for personal and small-group study. Please do not sell them, republish them in full elsewhere, or edit them in a way that changes their meaning without our written permission. Scripture quotations are used under their publishers’ terms.
Giving
Gifts made through the site are voluntary donations to the church and are generally non-refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error, contact us within 30 days and we will work with you. Online gifts are processed by Anedot, subject to its own terms and privacy policy. Giving receipts will be provided for your tax records; consult your tax advisor about deductibility.
Events and calendar
We do our best to keep event details accurate, but times, places, and programs can change. Please check with the church office if you are unsure.
Third-party services and links
The site uses Anedot for online giving, Mailchimp for email, and Resi for embedded video, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those services.
Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided “as is.” Content offered for spiritual encouragement, including Bible studies and devotions, is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. We do not guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the church and its staff and volunteers are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Franklin County, Missouri.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted here. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
